Blythe and the Palo Verde Valley sit right on the Arizona line. It is a long run, so we schedule rather than promise, and we bring everything we might plausibly need.

Blythe runs hotter than almost anywhere else in the county for longer, and the agricultural dust that comes with the valley behaves much like the sand does further west. Doors here age fast and there are fewer people to service them.
Because we are coming a long way, we load for the visit rather than the diagnosis. Springs in several sizes, cables, a full roller set, common opener parts and hardware. The aim is that whatever we find, it gets fixed that day.
That also means we will look at everything while we are there. If your door needs two things and only one has failed, we would rather do both than drive back across the county for the second.

Once a year for an average household. A service means checking spring balance, tightening hardware, lubricating rollers, hinges and bearings, and testing the safety reverse. It is the cheapest way to avoid the calls we get most often.
Why is my garage door so loud?
Most builder-grade doors ship with steel rollers that have no bearings. They wear, then grind, then shake the whole door. Swapping to sealed nylon rollers is the single cheapest change that quietens a door and takes load off the opener.
Does the heat in Riverside affect my garage door?
Yes, in two ways. Repeated expansion and contraction loosens hardware faster than in milder climates, so bolts and brackets need checking. And an uninsulated steel door on a west-facing garage radiates a lot of heat into the space behind it.
Do you cover my part of Riverside County?
We cover the whole county, from Corona and Norco through the Pass and the Temecula Valley to the Coachella Valley and Blythe. The shop is on Industrial Ave in Riverside, so the closer you are to the Inland Empire the faster we can usually get to you.
Are you open on Sundays?
No. We work Monday to Saturday, 8am to 6pm, and we are closed on Sunday. We would rather tell you that plainly than advertise 24 hours and miss the window.
Do you offer same-day service?
Often, yes, if you reach us inside working hours and you are in our core Western Riverside area. Desert work is normally booked rather than same-day, because it is 60 to 90 minutes each way and we would rather give you a firm window.
Who actually turns up at my house?
Bo, in most cases. He has been doing garage doors in Riverside County for over thirty years and he answers the phone himself. There is no call centre between you and the person who will be standing in your driveway.
How quickly can you get here?
Within working hours and inside the Inland Empire, often the same day. Our reviews describe within the hour more than once, though we will not promise that as a rule. When you book we give you a two-hour window and ring to confirm before the tech sets off.
