Service contracts · Riverside County

Set by cycles, not by the calendar.

A door opening two hundred times a day wears roughly ten times faster than a domestic one. Servicing it annually is not maintenance, it is a guess. We set the interval by how much the door actually moves.

How we set it

Count the openings,then decide.

Most commercial maintenance schedules are annual because a year is a convenient number, not because it matches anything. We ask how often each door actually moves and set the interval from that.

A store-room door that opens twice a day genuinely is an annual visit. A despatch bay cycling two hundred times is a quarterly one, and pretending otherwise means you meet us at the breakdown instead.

A contract also means we know the site. Which doors are old, which springs were replaced last year, which bay has the bumper problem. That is worth more on the third visit than the first.

What a contract covers

  • IntervalSet by cycle count per door
  • ScopeEvery door and dock on the site
  • ChecksSprings, cables, rollers, tracks, operators, safety
  • ReportingWhat was done and what is coming
  • ResponsePriority on breakdowns
  • RecordsSo we know the site, not just the door

The arithmetic

The repair billis rarely the real cost.

What a failed door costs is the despatch that did not go out, the bay that could not be loaded, or the shop that could not open. Planned work is cheap against that.

  • A planned visit is scheduledAt a time that suits you, not at the moment the door fails.
  • Wear parts get caught earlyA frayed cable found on a service is a five-minute job. Found at failure it is not.
  • We know the siteWhich matters more the longer the contract runs.

Getting started

  1. We survey every doorType, age, condition and how often it moves.
  2. You get a prioritised listWhat needs doing now and what is simply due.
  3. We propose an interval per doorNot one number across the whole site.
  4. Then it runsScheduled visits, reports, and priority if something fails between them.

The survey is free and there is no obligation at the end of it. Plenty of sites take the list and do nothing, which is fine.

Get the site surveyedbefore you commit to anything.

Bo goes round every door, tells you the condition and how often each one moves, and proposes an interval. Free, and no obligation.

How fast can you get to a commercial breakdown?

Within working hours and inside Western Riverside County, usually the same day. We ask what the door is stopping when you call, because a dock door blocking despatch is a different priority to a store-room door that can wait until Thursday.

Do you offer scheduled maintenance contracts?

Yes. Most commercial sites are better off on a schedule than waiting for failures, because a planned visit costs a fraction of a breakdown that stops work. We set the interval by cycle count rather than by calendar.

A door opening two hundred times a day wears out roughly ten times faster than a domestic one. Servicing it annually is not enough.

Can you service doors you did not install?

Yes, and most of our commercial work is exactly that. We service and repair whatever is already on site regardless of who fitted it, and we will tell you honestly when a door is past economic repair rather than keep patching it.

Do you work on dock equipment as well as doors?

Yes, levellers, seals, bumpers and the surrounding hardware. A door and a dock fail together often enough that treating them separately usually means two visits for one problem.

Can you work outside our business hours?

We work Monday to Saturday, 8am to 6pm. If a job needs doing outside trading hours to avoid stopping your work, say so when you book and we will schedule it, but we will not pretend we run a night shift.

How long does a commercial door last?

It depends almost entirely on cycles rather than years. A door cycling two hundred times a day will need springs and rollers annually and a full replacement far sooner than a domestic one. We size springs to the actual duty cycle for that reason.
